Military Ministry

At Christ our Savior Anglican Church (COS), we honor the personal sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. We acknowledge and appreciate the challenges that military families must endure by frequent PCS moves, deployments, and separation from family members. We understand how difficult it can be to pick up and move to a strange area and not know anyone. Our church is composed of several active duty and retired military families, so we know what it’s like to serve.

In fulfilling our mission to serve Jesus Christ, we also feel called to assist and love wounded warriors and their families by cooperating with local military chaplains, medical treatment facilities, and VA resources.

Our message to military service members and their families is…

At COS you will be accepted and appreciated for who you are and what you do to protect our country. You and your family are welcome at any of our activities and to join us for worship on Sunday afternoons. Additionally, we have the following military specific ministries that you may find helpful:

1. Officers’ Christian Fellowship - COS is a “church affiliate” of Officers’ Christian Fellowship (OCF). OCF’s purpose is “to glorify God by uniting Christian officers for biblical fellowship and outreach, equipping and encouraging them to minister effectively in the military society.” Our members are actively involved in praying for our military members through the Keep Up the Fire! campaign sponsored by OCF.  We welcome all to unite with us in our mission to pray for our military members and their families.

2. Military Missions Network – COS is listed as a “military friendly church” with the Military Missions Network. This network is an online resource connecting military members and their families with resources within the Church and parachurch organizations.
